Prisons in RDU are filled with men and women whose lives are defined by what they’ve done to break the law, but the Gospel offers the chance for their lives to be defined by what Jesus has done on the cross. The promise offered to our neighbors in prison is freedom in Christ despite their incarceration!
That’s why we have launched Summit services inside of the men's and women’s prisons in Wake County. Our hope is to see these men and women become disciples of Christ and then be disciple-makers both in the prison and after their release.
Would you please join us in praying for these men and women and consider serving with us, with the hope that they will come to faith in Christ and grow as His disciples?
Our goal inside the prison is to reach men and women with the gospel, then equip them to make disciple-makers in their dorms and prison campuses. Our teams also teach life skills inside the prisons and walk with the justice involved re-entering our community, to help them with their multi-faceted transition.
Please prayerfully consider the opportunities below to see how you can serve in this ministry. A blue card is required for all ministry opportunities except for group meals. Blue card training is offered several times throughout the year.
If you have questions or would like more information, please contact us any time.
